About Urban Dog Day Spa

Urban Dog Day Spa is a local, independently-owned salon that was founded in August 2017 by Kacie May. After working in the pet grooming industry for 7 years, Kacie was not able to find a salon that had the atmosphere, values or services she sought to offer her clients. She realized she had to take matters into her own hands and that’s when Urban Dog was born.

Kacie May - Owner | Certified Pet Stylist
Kacie began grooming in 2010 in San Diego, after her artistic abilities & love for all things furry drove her towards the industry. She has since competed in national competitions and opened her own salon. Kacie has three cats named Mr. Business, Penelope and Milani and two Chihuahuas – Finnegan and Tipsy.
Haley Gebhart – Certified Pet Stylist
Haley began grooming in 2011 to fuel her passion for animals. Growing up her family fostered many dogs from various rescue organizations, and she continues that tradition today. Haley owns a Shar-pei named Dozer, Presa Canario named Brutus, two Bostons named Stella and Leo, and a cat named Kitty.
